Pricey, but understandable given the fully articulated suspension arms visible (among other inside pieces) after opening the clamshell forward and backward hoods and the interior detail. The engine bay is indeed marvelous.
The model is also unusually heavy, I suspect the wheels and the already mentioned suspension pieces may all be metal.
The only small gripe is that the doors and the large opening hoods do not always hold closed or open very well, despite some magnets being present. Typically they can be prsuaded to hold after some positioning though, so you can enjoy the fully open position.
